MAV Robots

Nowadays there is a wide use for MAVs in different industries such as recording , movie producing and constructional observations. Even though there have been problems in the process of improving the intelligence and safety of these flying objects and to overcome such difficulties various researches have been applied. To name two major problems, we can refer to the dependence to positioning system satellites and being unable to recognize peripheral obstacles which are usually found in industrial and commercial versions of MAVs. Solving such problems, leads us to a more functional and trustable version of MAVs.

 Therefore, in the 6th AUTCup (Amirkabir University of technology),the main purpose of small sized MAV league will be identifying more intelligent robots. The competition will be held indoor, to avoid using. The competition area will have special features to evaluate the level of the intelligence. Rules are to evaluate the intelligence (simple to complex) and giving scores.
